13 gallon tank

This is my 13 gallon tank with swordtails , platys, and tiger barbs for the most part everyone gets along , lol

Those plants are looking great. If I may make a suggestion. Instead of a black background, maybe use some shinny craft paper or gift wrap paper along the back to brighten up the tank. It could just be from the camera but looks a little dark. I've seen some great tanks where the owners crinkle up the background paper to create a 3-D textured background effect. Just one more way aquarist can be creative and make their tanks stand out from the rest.

The fish look like they're doing well. Very nice.

I bet that lava rock would look incredible with some java moss on it. I'll be sure to get you a sandwich bag full this Wednesday.

I actually have placed a background on it now, after i took the photos, it didnt look good in the pics, there was actually no background then , the water was so clear that it showed a piece of a plastic bag just hanging behind it, lol, i think your right about the lava rock as well , thats were it will go, lol

But, I think I am going to try the shiny crinkle paper just to get the reflection of light throughout the tank, thanks for the suggestion!
